Abzooba's Smart Health Informatics Platform (SHIP^TM) embodies three core values which encompass the direct impact of its technology on all members of the healthcare community, from doctors to hospitals to patients: INFORM, CONNECT, and EMPOWER.

INFORM
The right information delivered at the right time to the patient is in itself therapeutic. By providing patients with information about their options while dispelling and clarifying misconceptions, those patients are more able to participate in and make key decisions about their own health. SHIP^TM-enabled applications also make it easy for physicians and health care providers to provide information to patients automatically, saving time and stress. Being informed can alleviate unnecessary concern and fear. We call this positive impact on emotional health information therapy.

CONNECT
The SHIP^TM applications enable direct and focused communication between health care providers and patients - the physician or clinic can both provide information to patients and respond to specific requests. Patients can also connect with other patients who can provide further useful experiences, and explore resources rich with additional information. While not a social network per se, SHIP^TM provides patients with the means to identify and connect with others who can benefit their experience.

EMPOWER
The right knowledge is power. Patients in today's world are no longer passive recipients of the advice, decisions, and directives they get from their health care providers-- they are consumers of information. Regardless of geographic location or socioeconomic status, the right information empowers patients to be proactive participants and decision-makers when it comes to their own health.
